Any of you ladies have a birth plan? What does it consist of for you?

I don't have an actual birth plan and didn't have any plan with my first but like now I know I don't want pain medicine through my iv because it made me loopy and not remember the whole day and I want an epidural still and I don't want students in my room while birthing it's too annoying to have that many people in your room

My birth plan (if everything goes well of course) is to give birth vaginally with an epidural. I only want my husband in the room. I plan on being on all fours for delivery as i have been told it is much more natural and comfortable. I want the umbilical cord cut after waiting at least 5 minutes so it can drain completely. I want immediate skin on skin contact before the baby has been given a bath as the cleaning up process can take precious time away from me and the baby. I want to try breastfeeding right away so he can learn to latch quickly. I want partial rooming so he will be taken only at night so my husband and I can get some sleep. I don't want any visitors immediately after I deliver him, I want to rest and shower before visitors are allowed in. and I want him circumcised. I believe that is about all I have for my birth plan.

I never thought of all that being in a birth plan.. I know I don't want any pacifiers and I want a max amount of time after the birth for my husband and I to only be in the room with the baby before anything is done to them. I jsut thought a birth plan was "at the hospital with an epidural"
