- I just wanted my bf there as well... but nope lol my mom was there waiting for me to go into labor but the doctors come out of no where and told me to start pushing so they were there my mom stay since she couldn't even get out of the room lol but she was just sitting down in the chair and then my mil came into the room and made a big deal since she wasn't there and my mom was and started yelling at the doctors talking shit so she had to stay there too she was causing me to stress but she didn't wanted to leave the room...

With my first I had my husband, mom and MIL in the room... this time it will just be my husband because I felt like since his mom was there the first time, he was more worried about her getting to see the baby than actually bonding with his own daughter... My MIL lives in TX and this time we told her that she can come visit after we get settled (like a month after I give birth). My mom is watching my daughter this time, so she won't be at the hospital either, even though I really did need her to keep me going the first time.

With my first daughter I didn't want my mother in there either and she just appeared in my room at like 12am when I was finally able to rest for a little while.

I only want my bf, we're both really private people and we aren't going to let anyone know we're at the hospital until a couple of hours after the baby is born.
