As much as I love sleeping with the windows open, and even though I live out in the middle of nowhere, I'm still scared to do it, but have no choice because our AC is broken. I worry..anything could happen 😕 I don't trust ANYONE...This world is crazy. We are ground level (one story house) so anyone could bust out a screen and come in 😦 There's baby thieves, perverts, kidnappers, rapists, peeping toms, coyotes, etc....ughhh

Oh we have fans. But without the windows open, it was close to 90 in here - even with the fans

is there a way u can prop the fans on the windows which should give u a Lil privacy and more air

:( that's the one and only thing I do like about being in an upper. I still want our next house to b a single family and not a duplex though! And a ranch style would be nice except for what you just said :-\ that is always in the back of the mind!
