love when family makes you feel like a huge burden for asking for help to watch your older child while you give birth.. my husband and I are completely independent parents who never have date nights and never ask for any help nor do we ever get a babysitter. I'm so glad that when I ask for help I'm such an inconvenience. my mom works for herself but simply can't rearrange her schedule and my sister has to go to her boyfriends to visit him.

That's so crappy! I know either if my parents would drop what they are doing to watch my child. When I was younger my grandparents always watched us kids, they loved having us. And I'm of 3 children. My dads parents even took care of my older brother who is my moms son before us twins were born, took him right in as their own. I feel bad, because if you can't count on family who the hell can you really count on.

That's so awesome @missjess I just know I want to be there.for.my kids forever. it breaks me apart and makes me so upset that my son has noone besides us. I feel so awful asking for any help but I'm so emotional right now I'm just getting really hurt that noone wants to step up.
