depends on what you mean by bloody. if it's like liquidy still I'd call the Dr but if it's like dried up or crusty on his diaper or clothes that's normal.

yup that's what happened with my love around that time and then it fell off and it still did that a few days cause there was still dried blood in it a little my pediatrician said not to put anything on it leave it completely dry and it went away

Yeah that happens. I always hate the cord while it's drying up. It's so gross to me :(
