So Emma has been insanely constipated since we switched her formula three weeks ago and her grandma watched her today and gave her camomile tea to help her poop and she just did if was big and very firm hard. There was blood on it. Should I be worried or is this from being so constipated?!?!? She's 7 months old.

I believe it's from being so constipated but I would call the doctor and see what you can do

yes ..my son is a bit younger but I give him diluted apple juice every day to help him poop but it comes out mushy never hard.

I've tried everything! Even miralax twice a day doctors recommended it. Nothing I've tried prune juice apple juice pear juice nothing. Also suppositorys only get her to poop a big ball. I feel awful for her! I'm calling her Pediatritians office first thing in the morning. Thank you so much for your help! @rhia

my son use to be the same way! i would have to give him diluted Apple prune juice or baby food prunes.. my dr also recommended... karo syrup or just some water through out the day.

@rhia, I decided not to call because of the camomile tea her grandma gave her yesterday worked! She has soft stools last night for the first time in forever and she had no blood in them!!! She slept 12 hours last night.
