Feeling immense guilt over telling my sister her alcoholic partner wasn't welcome to our new apartment and not to visit baby after she's born... Her partner has repeatedly put my cat in danger when we all lived together and practices very poor hygiene. Am I a jerk? Would you do the same?

I most deff would. I have told a close friend of mine they where not welcome at my house anymore because of her drinking problems. and ive tools my biological mother that she wasn't welcome to hold my baby due to her lack of hygiene. babies don't need it around them.

@raerae95, that's how I feel. They both slept through the fire alarm after she left a pot burning on the stove. I think I'm doing what's best. I just feel guilty.

@mamamoonbaby, when you start feeling guilty just remind your self that.. what if that had been an actual fire not just a pot on the stove. and something tragic and or life changing happened to your child because of them

@raerae95, great point and that has definitely been helping. She wants to "talk more about it" but no means no to me. I don't want her there.
