So I need some advice... I'm getting married in july. My parents are divorced. My dad has always been in my life but only financially. Due to alcohol he has never been active in my life, but he is assuming he's walking me down the aisle. I don't want him too because he has never been there for anything else and I know he won't be 100% sober. His side of the family is trying to make me feel bad for not wanting him to walk me. I'm a people pleaser, so I don't know what to do 😔

I wouldn't let him have that satisfaction, especially since he has never been there for you through all the times you needed him the most.

I had my father ( the man who raised me not biological father ) walk me down the aisle. But when we got to the end my bio dad stood up next to me and when they asked who gives this woman away they both said we do. I went through the same struggle as you are now. I tell you it was the best decision.
