Contractions are now 8 minutes apart but pain is still bearable and lasts around 50 seconds a time. When should I go into hospital? Gone from every 20 mins to 8 mins in five hours.

@lou, I was told to go in when they got to 5mins apart lasting 1 min because of the time it will take you to get to solihull or heartland or women's as that will take longer xxx

I got told every 5 minutes and lasting a minute but different places may have different times :) good luck! xx
@lou, they told me every 3 mins and lasting one minute for an hour!! But if it gets unbearable before then I would phone and tell them you need pain relief. When I went in, I was 7cm dilated and contacting every 3 mins lasting a minute and a half. He was born 3 hours later! Listen to your body and if it gets too much, go in! So exciting! Good luck! Xx
