I wouldn't leave. And I would take his ass to court. Violation or not, I'm pretty sure evicting you in an hour is illegal. I think by law it needs to be at least 24 hours. I would double check

they have to legally give you 30 days notice if they're gonna kick you out

@cnew12, they told me at the last minute I've been here like two weeks they never told me I couldn't have a pet at first ... I already had my dog and all attached to him now ..they never said anything until the last min

Yeah usually they'll give a notice for you to either rehome the pup or you to move. That's not fair. I'd try talking to your landlord! If there's a "no pet policy", you shouldn't have to pay a "pet fee" either. I'd be so mad 😒

How old is the dog? We just registered our second as a "service dog", it was a one time fee of $100 and they're legally allowed anywhere and you don't have to pay pet deposits anywhere. And legally they're not allowed to ask any further questions about it once you show the certificate. They have like emotional support, physical support and something else. I know a few people that have done this as well. Might be worth a shot if you don't wanna rehome the little guy
