Okay so I'm seeing a lot of c-section posts which makes me worried.. Last time I've seen a lot of baby pictures on Facebook I ended up finding out I was pregnant 😂 but still kinda worried about c-section.. Any mommies can tell me they're stories? I have a few questions also. Also I don't mind if they were bad experience stories or good ones. I want to be aware of everything.

I had a vaginal delivery with my first and an emergency csection with my second. I'm open for questions as well. If I can help, I will.

Well my c section kinda sucked lol I planned natural birth I waited to go to the hospital until my contractions were 3-4 minutes apart I was already 6 cm dilated it was on Sunday afternoon I got to 8-9 cm before getting the epidural but I'm glad I did my contractions got worse and I was pushing for hours to the point I couldn't push anymore the epidural was starting to wear off and my daughter was transverse her head was facing up towards my lady parts vs my butt so that made it harder and her head wouldn't pass by pubic bone I was too small so finally they took me in for a c section I was experiencing so much pain and they wouldn't put me to sleep so they tried giving me a spinal block but I was feeling everything to where I was screaming in pain when they cut me open and pulled her out I swear it took forever for them to close me up and I started throwing up it sucked lol my dr said who wasn't even there came in the next day and was curious as to why they made me push for so long before taking me for the c section he said he would've had me in there before midnight (which means I wouldn't have had a leap day baby ) and that if I wanted to have more kids to automatically schedule a c section because my pubic bone area was too small to pass a baby thru (my baby was on 5 lbs and 12 oz so I couldn't imagine trying with a bigger baby lol ) but at the end of the day my daughter and I were safe and happy and that's all that matters ❤️ any questions feel free to ask me :) message me anytime good luck !

my c section wasn't nearly as bad as I thought It would be. I went in planning on a natural delivery. went through the whole labor process, dilated to 10 got my water broken had no epidural and was ready to push but the doctor stopped and said that she was in the OP position (sunny side up) and took me for an emergency c section. I was terrified and that was the last thing I wanted but it had to happen. being in there was kind of scary, knowing that i was getting cut open blew my mind but I really didn't feel a thing and hearing her cry when she came out made me cry. recovery was a little rough but not nearly as bad as expected. they had the catheter taken out just 8 hours after my surgery and I was able to get up to use the bathroom. they give you pain meds to make it manageable. it wasnt easy to walk or laugh but each day everything got a little easier. by two weeks I felt so much better. I was back to work by 4 weeks. now, 2 months later although the scar is still a little sensitive at times I feel great. I want to try natural next time but I'm not against a c section anymore like I was before I had one. it was all worth it for my daughter. I'm telling you fear is the worst part of it. pain goes away.
