Only one more hour until I can get a shower. I have never been so excited to get a shower before in my life! All the jelly from the monitor and from me constantly switching positions to get comfy and them having to come and readjust it, add more jelly, etc. I'm so cold and the nurse said we (anyone on the maternity floor) doesn't have control over the heat so here I am with three hospital blankets, a sheet, and my own little blanket and still cold. (this iv isn't helping with the coldness) Been up and down all night with having to pee, contractions (sometimes) waking me up, and knowing my boyfriend has snacks here that he can munch on and I feel so damn hungry. knowing I got sweettarts in my purse doesn't help this situation either!

Eat !!! I ate everything while in labor of course they didn't c me but I couldn't help it I mean full course meals lol

Ask for broth you can have that you aren't supposed to eat solids incase of emergencies they did offer jello and Popsicles to me but like you I was freezing

Yeah as long as it's a liquid they should my mom gave me the advice to ask for the broth

Yeah they won't let u drink water it's supposed to b Popsicles and ice chips but I'm telling u I ate there's no way I could've survives I went in fri morning and delivered Sunday night I would've starved had I not eaten every night no complications with me I had chicken French fries mc Donald's pickles Chips I mean it's up to u but I couldn't starve and I had a c section an was fine !!! Good luck !!!
