My husband and I met in 2010 in college. We were both in the wildlife rehabilitation program at our college in North Carolina. The first time we hung out was in the college restaurant with some friends we had in common. It kind of went from there. Got engaged in April of 2012. We went walking down by the creek by the wildlife center and he told me to turn around and when I did I saw a mink swimming in the creek. I asked him if he saw it and I ended up turning around asking him if he had seen it and he said yes. When I turned around I had seen he was on one knee nervous as could be. I said yes of course! We took seeing the mink as a good sign!
