My fiance and I met when he came to remodel my bathroom in the apartments I lived in. I had seen him and talked to him on other occasions when he did work on other peoples apartments, but he seemed like a cocky asshole so I really didn't care to get to know him. As he was remodeling the bathroom we got you talking a bit, maybe even flirted a little. I had just gotten out of a 10 year marriage to my 2 oldests father and wasn't really looking for anything. I figured that was that and I would see him around as he was also friends with my sister in law and she was the on site manager for our apartments and he would be over there some time. Before he left he asked my full name which I thought was odd, he knew my first name but I gave it to him. Later that night I got a Facebook message from him saying his was out at the pool hall/bar and he would like to buy me dinner. I politely declined and said maybe another time (at this point still has no intention on acting on any of it). I continued to get messages every night for about a week with him wanting to take me to dinner.. I ended up giving him my phone number and invited him over for dinner the next night and within 2 days of talking we were exclusively dating. We moved out together 3 months later, got engaged, have a beautiful daughter together and a son on the way. We also have 5 other kids between the 2 of us. He definitely is the cocky asshole I thought he was, but I can handle it since he handles my bitchiness and attitude (one of the things he said intrigued him). After just settling to be OK with my ex and staying so long to finally realizing I deserve to be completely head over heels and madly in love I am so happy I took the chance and he didn't give up. he's had nothing but rough relationships and it's awesome to hear his friends say they have never seen him so happy and look at someone like he looks at me.. I will happily say I do and become Mrs. Simmons May 12, 2017.. this one is a forever and then some type of love ❤💜💐💍💒
