Any tell me what to expect today??? I have an appointment at the hospitals antenatal clinic today but I don't know what for I've been to hospital every week for scans and monitoring but never been to the clinic...anyone know what this could be for? I'm 36 weeks today and had to cancel my mw appointment to go :/ x

I'm surprised they didn't tell you why you are going. I go twice a week as i have mild pre-eclampsia so they take my blood pressure, check my protein, take bloods and monitor the baby. People go in for different reasons though. X

I have blood tests and pressure, sugar levels done by my midwife, monitoring every week at the day unit and scan when they think I need one..... I didn't even know about the appointment until I went to the day unit last week :/ @fozzywoz x

Oh clinic is to see the consultant then. If you have been monitored closely the consultant will just want to discuss plans. For example if my pre eclampsia gets worse I'll be inducded. X
