you can request certain people not be allowed on the postpartum floor or in your room. if you request no one know you're there you can do that too. you can give them a list of ppl allowed in.

I wouldn't recommend the password, when my sister had one out for her son who was in the nicu people she let in told people she didn't want up the password so they went in. But you can have a list of who isn't allowed :)

at my hospital while i was going to have my son anyone who showed up had to get a approval from me or my mom and if anyone called they were not allowed information

key cards that opened the doors and we allowed 4 visitors. that was during l&d my parents had one and his parents had one and he had one. we only used 3. people could come in with them but they asked ahead of time who I didn't want there... hospitals have security measures for a reason

i only asked them if anyone called not to give them information the other part they did on there own
