it really depends what you do. I was on my feet for hours at a time and carrying heavy stuff (restaurant manager) so I worked til I was 32 weeks. Friends of mine who have office desk jobs worked up until their due dates or c-section dates

That's illegal that you don't get a break.

Besides that, if you're able to sit and don't feel in danger or unable to do your job I say the choice is yours. I want to try to work until 35wks but i work in a warehouse lifting boxes and i get a dysfunction during my pregnancies that causes my pelvic bones to separate

I stopped working at 38 wks

I'm trying to work up to 36-38 so I can have more time with my son.

It is but as a security officer you get no breaks lol you must stay on post at all times, if you have to use the bathroom you call a watch supervisors & they come when they can. You eat on your post as well. It sucks! @arivera64

how do you have no breaks? You don't have lunch or br break at all? That's against labor laws.

Nope not at all, if I absolutely need a break I have to call a supervisor to come whenever he/ she can. You eat on post & can't leave post unattended at any time @expectingz

Oh no honey, you don't have a union or nothing. Your pregnant, you need more breaks or your at higher risk for UTI'S and I heard those are not fun! they need two people up there so you can take br breaks and lunch wit hour having to stay on post!! Are your lunches paid? Yeah I would call HR on that one!

Yeah I was thinking that, plus I definitely applied for part time/ 38hrs they have me working 49hrs plus. I've talked to them about the breaks, and my hours & nothing has changed. I mean the money is good but work and school is a hassle but I want to help my fiance pay bills although she says I can stop working now @expectingz

Yeah they are taking advantage and if you don't do/say more they are going to keep going. I understand money, but money isn't everything!
