He can put in leave and take 29 days anything more than 29 gets complicated and has to be signed by everybody

have him delay his time. the first few days are all sleep anyhow. you can stagger help. MIL, then 2 weeks with hubs. friends brought food for about 5 weeks - not every dinner but a 2 or 3 times a week. that helped.

I know your pain. My SO only gets the 2 free weeks too.

my husband said it starts immediately after your child is born @cherryfield but @mommygreene is right, if he has plenty of leave he can put in for more time off. but I think after 2 weeks my husband will be happy to get back to work haha
