is there a disorder where your hands cannot get dirty?

it's part of having ocd or a phobia of germs. my bil has ocd tendencies like washing his hands three times or four times before feeling clean. runs them under water after touch anything in the kitchen. Flicks the light on and off until he feels it's good enough. The list goes on.

Cannot as in incapable? Or cannot as in mentally can't handle it?

@tiffrae I'm familiar with OCD and have a few OCD tendencies myself.. but this isn't one of them.. @lizibear84 cannot mentally handle it.. my 3 yr old gets extremely uncomfortable when her hands get messy.. it like freaks her out.. today she was finger painted and looked at her hands and ran to the bathroom to wash them.. she really wanted to finger paint.. but couldn't get over her hands being messy

at 3 it's common for them to not want anything that is gooie on their hands even if they want to mentally do the activity.

When I was her age, I wanted nothing on me to get dirty. pretty sure it's normal

@tiffrae @lizibear84 shes been like this since she was old enough to grab things... im talking jusy months old.. do they eventually out grow this?

yes they will out grow it eventually.
