Why are coming home outfits important? Not being rude or anything, just don't understand them. My…

Right I have 4 kids and this is the first I've heard of a coming home outfit my kids usually just wear whatever home Lol

I feel the same way. with my son it was the end of May we just put shorts and onsie on him lol

I wondered that too... Lol. Like I'll bring him home in a nice outfit that my dog can see?

I'm glad other Mommas don't worry about that and im not the only one. My first baby just Wore a sleeper home that they gave me in the hospital

I'm going in in pj's she's coming home in pj's too lol something comfortable

I thought they were important too But my girl wore ending up being too small for her outfit So she wore just a footed onsie.

I just hate to see people have there newborns in full on outfits or extravagant/Easter dresses only to go home . All I have packed is a onesie and pants and then a pajama set that comes with a jacket in case it's cold

My mom kept the outfits that my brother and I came home in and they were only worn that one time. they were special.. in my opinion, and my mom's, bringing baby home for the first time is special so that's what the special outfit is for! (: I'll be putting Raines outfit in a shadow box along with her hospital bracelets, footprints and other little things from the day she was born

Not nockin anyone who does choose to do the whole coming home outfit, just don't understand it at all. I mean they will just be in the car..

but we will also be going directly from the hospital to his grandmother's house lol but her coming home outfit is just a onesie with her name on it with a matching bow and little shoes.. so it's not all extravagant like I know some people do, but I do get how some people think it's pointless too lol I guess it's just preference lol

we just did a onesie with pants and a vest for both our boys (same outfit 5.5 years apart) and our daughter had a onesie and pants as well. I guess I could see if you were coming home to a house full of people to see baby, but just for ourselves to look at them, nope.

I'm getting my son something cute not extravagant tho because we'll probably have alot of visitors and pics being taken so that's why for me. if we were coming back to an empty home then I won't just do a onsie
