ive got midwife in half hour so will mention it then but would people worry if there baby were more active than normal?…

Yes. Increased movements can be a sign the baby is in distress. Xx

My baby was more active for 3 days last week, I told the midwife and she said to ring the hospital, when I did the midwife on the phone practically laughed down the phone and said their is no way they would be concerned about increase in movement, I said what it means she's distressed the midwife said I don't think so, I highly doubt that. I felt stupid on the phone it was awful hopefully you have a better midwife to talk to than I did xx

@mummy800 I had a back to back labour :) I haven't had a normal labour before :) but I was on no pain relief for 24+ hours. I went on gas and air at 8cms and wasn't allowed to push on it( I was pushing for an hour) The contractions didn't bother me at all...like they weren't painful...but I felt this intense pressure in my bum/back area...like a constipated feeling :) I was more bothered about feeling like I needed to poop lol. The midwives didn't really believe I was in labour. They had to keep checking lol...I didn't make any noise...didn't even talk. Well I only spoke to the midwives to ask them if I was pooping lol xx

Pleased everything is ok, and I had back to back labour with my 1st I didn't think it was to bad lol the start of labour was worse than the end when I was pushing and I only had gas and air, think it just depends on the person, don't worry it's all soo worth it :-) and she's fine now @winterbaby95 kicking away at her normal times well more full on rolling just made me feel stupid at the time and as if I just didn't know what I was on about xx

@mummy800 Yeah, I was set on only having gas and air :) For my next one I'm just going to do the same or have nothing :) See how I feel :) Also bubs tends to control the labour/birth anyway :) I needed to have Spinal for the forcep delivery :) and although I didn't feel the contractions anymore. I had to stay in bed for 24 hours..I couldn't really feel my legs until the next morning :) I had a catheter..hated it! xxx
