So I get a text from my best friend last night who has not been too see my daughter yet. Nor has she really checked on her. She has bailed three times for some guy she calls her best friend now, so I said fuck her. She was talking about how she hates how far we drifted apart and all this, mind you this is he second time I've told her how I felt, and I just told her I was tired of people expecting my daughter to be in the lives when they don't make the effort for her. Which is fine because she great and they are missing out. But how do you think I feel when I have literally nobody, I cry alone too have too suck it up because I don't have anyone to talk to anymore? Like that shit is dead. And all over some dick. 😐 like I'm over it.

we can't force people into a baby's life so if they want no part then fine. I'm not gonna expect shit from her nor can I ever depend on her. we know what's best for our baby.

@babylove11416, right see she thought she was going to be the godmother as well and I didn't want her too be due too I wanted someone that I truly knew would be there if I needed it and that was my cousin. And when I was pregnant we talked not a lot but a pretty good amount. And she came to my baby shower but didn't get her anything. Yet she can have money for gas and weed and whatever else but couldn't even get a card. Well that didn't bother me. But then after she was born she has said "I'm going to be there too meet her" never showed. I went too Winston where she lives to see my grandma and she said she was going to come over there. Never did but then again when too see her "best friend" / "fuckbuddy" and I was pissed. Then she said she was coming again, but again never showed. Didn't even get a text. I asked her like a few weeks later what happened and she said she didn't want too tell me sorry because she felt bad for disappointing me. So this counted as the first time I told her how I felt because I went off. She said she was going to do better. Then she said was coming for her birthday which was last week and still never came so I gave her a basic happy birthday. So after that I was done like. Like you have clearly chose who you want in your life. And I just can't deal anymore. Like my daughter deserves a constant love. Not here and there
girl I know how you feel. my 'best friend' always seems to have an excuse that she's busy, working , tired , sleeping. and ever since I was pregnant, she only checked up on me foot I wanna say max is 5 times. and she wasn't there for the baby. now he's about to be 4 months and she still hasn't seen him. wasn't able to get me anything for him, didn't come to the baby shower and I even attempted to see her at her job last weekend and they said she was off. but she told me she was working til Tuesday. I'm done and over this. and she thought she was gonna be the godmother. I said no. my other best friend is gonna be it. she's not gonna get a title. like for what? you haven't made an attempt, not even call , nothing. I'm done trying to put you in his life and if she doesn't want anything to do with us cause she's always "busy". well honey I'm busy too but I make the time to keep in contact with the ones I want to.
