Should I be concerned?!?! HELP! FTM

My baby boy has been coughing at night in his sleep, it seems he will get choked with spit. Not spit up but just regular spit. Then starts coughing and will choke sometimes. Is this normal?!? It's only at night from what we have noticed. It doesn't happen during the day, at least not very much if it it does at all.
