thank you! it hasn't broke yet, but I'm almost 2 days from my DD so I'm just thinking of some things lol

Well start heading that way anyways. I know some mom's that shower (feel gross after it breaks) and load up and go. Really depends how much laboring you do before hand and if you are going "Fast". Usually you labor longer with your first so you'll have plenty of time to get to the hospital. The biggest thing if your water breaks to keep bacterial out of your uterus because the protective membrane (water sack) is gone so you and baby can get infections easier. That's why they would like for you to go in as soon as it breaks.

I would go in. My doctor will do a c-section in 24 hours from when your water broke if you don't have baby.

i didnt but granted i didnt know thats what it was then either. but mine broke at 16 weeks and it set up group b strep which is an infection. i would just to be on the safe side
