Just go with the flow! Try not to stress over what is out of your control.

Cervidil is like a medicated thin paper insert with a string attached like a tampon. Once it is placed you'll have to lay down for a few hours. After that you're free to walk around and do whatever you like! You might get mild contractions as it starts working, no big deal! After the 12 hours they will give you an hour to shower or do whatever you want to then they will start the pitocin. It's in an iv bag like saline it will make your contractions a lot stronger! And in several hours you will meet your precious baby! Just relax and you'll do just fine :) I hope it helps calm you down knowing how it all works! It's not scary at all!
