I thought when it broke your chance for infection increases si they keep you well that's what my Dr told me

I read it can take from 12 to 24 hours after your water breaks before you start labor, plus you're not dilated & 35 weeks

Doctors office called me back and that's what they put on the paper work to tell the lab so as far as I know I'm okay

That's weird my water broke at 35 weeks I was dilated at a 1 and 80% effaced and they kept me and induced me told.me.i had to deliver in 24 hours
