I'm upset, my husband family changed the family cruise for his grandfather surprise 80th birthday party for next year to April when we originally going in September, My best friend 25th birthday trip is in April as well, she has been talking about it for awhile and I agreed to go. I can't make both trips because they both are for a week and one is in Vegas and one is going to the Caribbean. I'm torn, what do you ladies think?

Honestly I agree with @wafiyahd. I'm sure your friend will understand that family comes first and you only get one 80th!! That's huge!! :)

I would tell them you have a prior commitment. It's not your fault they changed the date. If you are worried about hurting the family you and your friend can plan a girls weekend before the cruise and that way keep everyone happy :) good luck!

@mommyandbriston, that's true 80 is big but his grandfather birthday is not until September, but I know my husband is going to be psst if I don't go
