Girls who have a Doppler...can you use them without gel? Or can you use things like baby oil etc?🤔

When I first got it I used the gel just because it was easier to slide along to find the beat but only because I got the gel with mine if I hadn't of had it I probably would of used some kind of body lotion or something I just had in the bathroom cupboard 😂😂 xx

Oh really @winterbaby95 tbh she moves so much now I don't generally use it unless I get a lot less movements and have a 5 minute panic, but I find it harder to find now I'm bigger, is that normal? Xx

@amyfreemz Hmm sometimes the position they are in can make it harder to find :) Midwives find it easily because the can feel what position the baby is in and pinpoint the exact location of the heart :) My midwife could find it instantly :) but sometimes it took a few minutes for the doppler to register the heart rate. Hun...the doppler shouldn't be used if you are worried about movements. Reduced movements should always be monitored Xx

Hey I tried mine without gel when first got it and it didn't work so I used it with bio oil which did work but then I got aloe Vera gel and it works the best with that x

I couldn't find my gel and step daughter was so sure she wanted to listen to it grabbed the sun cream and it worked lol 😂😂 so anything lubey and wet I suppose 😉😂😂😂😂😂
