just a question, how many of you mamas wash all the baby clothes before lil one arrives? this is my 3rd baby and its been 7 years since my last, but I don't remember washing the clothes before baby came. is it really needed? or a preference thing? I know some babies are sensitive to some detergents and stuff but I never had that issue with my first 2 so idk. guess since this is my first girl and we got some frilly outfits I'm afraid of them getting ruined in the wash lol opinions? suggestions?

I wash all the newborn and 0-3 months stuff, dreft is wonderful and gentle on baby skin. Every baby is different so her skin maybe sensitive, better to be safe and wash,than have a little one with a rash and miserable.

Use the delicate cycle and the outfits should be fine....mine always came out fine

yeah i washed everything thay might touch her even if it was brand new.

if you wash everything remember anything she doesnt wear you cant return/exchange ..

I will wash everything before she wears it, but not before she is born just in case she ends up being a boy or is too big for the newborn sizes or something (then I can return stuff). Before she's born I'm going to wash the couple outfits that I'll be taking to the hospital.

@sweetpeasmama716, I only washed things like blankets, burp rags, socks, sheets and then the onesies I know we will use right away. Everything else I'm waiting and may or may not wash.
