This mothers day is going to be hard on my husband. He lost his mother last year very shortly after we had gotten married. He hasn't been able to talk to her for a few years. And the last thing he wanted before his mother had passed was to hear her say she loved him just one more time and he never got that chance. What makes me bring this up is that my mother is living in with us for a short while to help us with our son for the first few months after my son is born. I am due May 4th which is 2 days away. If I have to pick an induction date I would love to have our son on mothers day which is May 8th this year. And I know that it will make my husband more emotional because I will be spending it with my mother and I would be spending it with our newborn son. I just don't know how to make this day easier on my husband. And every time he wants to talk about his mother he gets too upset and stops. What can I do?
