As a mother of 6 who works full-time, I have to say that so far this pregnancy has been extra rough on my employer. This week alone, I had to go to the ER twice for myself due to chest pains and now have to start seeing a cardiologist, my daughter had a severe poison ivy reaction, and my son had to get stitches. I am the world's most unreliable employee with my attendance, and have the world's most understanding employer. I'm so happy that I'm going to be making the transition to being a stay-at-home mother when number 7 arrives in October. Not because I don't love my job, but because I'm ready to be able to focus entirely on my kids instead of feeling guilty for being away from them for work and guilty for being away from work for them.
