yes. My doctor has to write a "prescription" once I have the baby in order for me to get a breast pump. thank goodness my neighbor never used hers and let me borrow it

Yep. I had to wait until baby was born then I had three days to claim it. My dr had to fill in a form for with a code that Medicaid gave me. The pump was considered a "prescription" :)

I actually did mine on pumpingessentials.com and they needed a Drs note which they ended up getting after I put in my info so I didn't even have to worry about it and after they got that I had it within like two days

Medcaid now saying that they don't cover breast pumps I am not even going to worry bout it I will just bottle feed

the wic office will give you one if you're on wic but you have to use a manual for 6 weeks and prove that you'll breastfeed then they'll give a double electric one

yes after u get prescription for breast pump from doc..go to this website fill paperwork out and they ship pump that next day..if u wait for WIC you won't get it until baby is here

Yes I www told it has to be medically necessary and I went through edge park.com, they contacted my doctors office and it was denied for me. I just bought a used Medela for $50 and replaced with new accessories.
