My little brother is on the autism spectrum also. They're the same of the most awesome people, aren't they!?

@taylorrleee1, They definitely are. And I'll tell you one thing. His mind might work differently than mine and he might have a hard time communicating, but he is, by far, smarter than I will ever be.

Oh my gosh I know! My brother is 13 and sometimes I can't believe the thingd that come out of his mouth, he's ridiculously smart.

@taylorrleee1, I definitely believe that. Derek turns 19 in August and he remembers thing that happened when I was 6 and he was 4 that I could have NEVER remembered on my own. He is in a class at school with some other kids who have Autism and they never cease to amaze me.

@taylorrleee1, It pisses me off when people feel sorry for me. Like, for what? I feel sorry that they never got to know someone as special as him. They are definitely the losers, not me. lmao

I agree 100%! I wouldn't want my brother to be any other way. And he's the same about remembering things, he brings up things from when he was like 2 or 3 and he's like "do you remember this?" I'm like uhh no I can't even remember what I had for dinner last night 😂

@charitymarie, my nephew is 10 and has autism. He is in a special class with other kids that have autism as well. But let me tell you... that boy is smart as a whip. He tells me all kinds of stuff. He has kept better track of my pregnancy than me. lol. He tells me what's suppose to happen each week. Now he is counting the days down. He is the sweetest little boy! I know your brother is just as great!!!! 💙
