You can't eat for how many hours before the glucose test ?

@egates, My appointment was at 9:30 am and I wasn't aloud to eat after midnight the night before.

naah eat something girl. i believe if it comes back positive and they do the 3 hr then u fast. but u should be fine. i did mine and thankfully it was neg for diabetis and im a bug girl 208 pounds jeje

@egates, I just drank it and threw it up. My doctor said you can eat if you want. It's non fasting.

Yeah for my 1 hr i never had to fast. I was allowed to eat. For the 3 hr test i had to fast. Just don't go eating something like pancakes, toast with jam or cereal that will make your sugar higher. Keep it simple. Bacon and eggs with a little juice or something

@charitymarie, No, I did not. lmao. I just did the 3 hour one three days ago. The rules were the same for that one, too

Mines should come back negative because I don't eat a lot of sugary foods but hopefully I do pass @mamix3_

dnt eat or drink nothing until u get your blood drawn then feel free but they gone give u something to drink get the orange one

@egates, I hope you pass! It was pretty horrible. Both of my arms are bruised from have my blood drawn 3 times in the same spot in 3 days. Plus, the 3 hour drink is different and mine was way worse.

I ate literally right before and my result came back below the average. Plus, drinking that liquid on an empty stomach would be treacherous!

you cant eat. u dont have to fast. just dont eat anything sweet geesh. everyones pregnancy is different.
