why are the men always so stressed out when it comes to pregnancy and becoming a parent when it is the women that will be doing most of the care taking ? this man is aggravating the hell out of me with all his worries and isolation. we don't live together ..and I am in the military...I still haven't found a daycare for when income off of maternity leave. I should be the one stressing!!! did I mention my silent frustration is causing me to get gray hairs again?

My husband didn't seem that excited and kind of stressed out when I first got pregnant. I asked what was wrong, he told me it's a lot of responsibility and stress that falls on the man's shoulders, not only does he want to provide and protect you but now he has a little life to provide for and protect as well. Men think more technically than emotionally. He is just scared I'm sure. It's a big change.

that is a relief to here. I have been going back and forth about it in my head every day. and all he keeps saying is the he has a lot more on Hus plate than before. I suppose this is what he means.

Yea mine was excited at first, because we found out two days before our Wedding. But after a while i seemed to be the only one excited and found it hard to talk about it with him. So after i got further along and people were asking me about baby and excited for us he was getting there. And especially after i started showing he was over the moon kissing and talking to my tummy. But with men, they are sometimes slow to the game think differently, you are thinking my bump and the movement and all that, whereas he's thinking he need to grow up and get it together for you guys. He will come around. Good luck lady
