Did anyone on here get a tooth pulled while pregnant ? Did they take you under or give you something…

I was going to get a tooth pulled and he numbed it with that needle but because my gum was SOOOOO swollen he didn't want to continue

they wouldn't pull mines.. just cleaned. but I have 2 months after I give birth to get them pulled

I don't think they'll put you to sleep but they'll numb it really good . Now if you have anxiety they will send you to a oral surgeon

@shalene, well the dentist referred me to the oral surgeon. I have to make an appointment I'm just nervous

I got a root canal and 6 fillings. My dentist just said he had to wait until I was in my second trimester and had to get a letting saying I could have numbing medicine and be worked on by my obgyn

They can refer you but see how you do its not that bad I was having bad anxiety and my dentist wasn't going to do it but I wanted that tooth out so I calmed down .. Lol

I has a root canal and one filling. They numbed it using a different kind of numbing agent(no Lidocaine). I can't remember what it was called. As long as your in your 2nd trimester, it should be fine. You may need a note from your OB GYN...I just went ahead and had it done. Also, you can ask to be double covered when you get your x-ray done.

I did a few weeks ago I got local anesthesia and put a numbing needle shot in my gums then pulled it I was fine

If your worried just wait till right after baby is born If you can that's what I'm doing
