Have been taking metformin for a couple weeks and Friday I started with upset stomach in the morning…

sadly metformin is hell on the stomach😢

I'm on 500 and I'm takeing 2 now do I take them at the same time ?

I always took mine together just to get it over with😧, when your body gets use to it all the upset stomach and not being able to hold it will quit. I was told eat a heavy meal before you take them it should help

i always eat toast and drink a little bit of milk and it has helped the upset stomach

@hermommy, I didn't even take my metformin yet and still feel nauseous 😢

@aolivas1994 I stinks girl I know:/ I remember those days, it's so worth it though I promise you. It probably took about 2/3 weeks for my body to accept it and quit making me sick once that happens it won't bother you anymore😢 try eating bland food as soon as you wake up

It sucks I got take my throyid pill on an empty stomach and then take my metformin 😁😁
