Don't want to pick an induction date. But at this rate it looks like it. If my baby boy doesn't want to come by wednesday once we hit 40 weeks we are scheduling it. That i think scares me more than child birth in itself. Id rather naturally go into full blown labor vs being induced being a FTM. But as long as my baby is healthy I shall stay positive. He has been ready for 4 weeks but its like my body refuses to go into labor. No contractions every constant enough (1-2 a day) and my water hasn't broke. Just wanna meet my lil man and spoil him and always make sure he is ok. ❤❤❤❤❤

I was induced and I know everyone's experience is different but I honestly did not have a bad experience at all. Everything worked out great, thank God! It just made me be in labor for 30+ hours but it's not as bad as people make it seem! 🙌🏼

@juliannap, were you dilated or effaced before you got induced. If I have to pick a date I want to have him born on Mothers day but don't know what date to pick.

I was in the same boat. My son came two days before I was going to be induced. I walked every day, sat on a yoga ball as much as possible and a few hours before my labor started I ate half a pineapple, I think that's what kicked my labor off. Good luck!! :)

@vaporeon, I have been doing anything I can to get him out. Squats recently, walking around thr military housing neighborhood, walking up and down 2 flights of stairs, bending over to pick up small things or put laundry away, and anything I can that has any kind of movement. But he is still staying in.

Nope. I was completely induced due to my placenta wanting to stop working. I was 0 dilated 0% effaced and cervix still high and super thick. I think that's why my labor took so long. After 12 hours on cervidil, I only dilated to a 1. But, like I said everyone's is different. my friend was induced due to low fluid and just after being on cervidil it was time to push. Cervidil completely dilated her. But don't be afraid. Just learn how to breathe through the pressure (being induced makes the contractions 100 times worse) but I got the epidural super early 😁 that's why I think my process wasn't as bad!! Good luck, mama!
