the general rule is 5 1 1

5min apart, lasting for 1 minute, and continues for 1 hour or more

lol it can be nerve wrecking not really knowing what to expect. Even as a mother of 3, with my last baby i still had times where i questioned if i was really in labor or not. I was having contractions that fell into the category, but they weren't getting stronger or more painful. Then they would stop. It happened every night for about 2 weeks straight. It's called prodromal labor and it sucks

😩😩 not good. So not ready for it. So as long as they get stronger each time I'm definately in labor right...I have a feeling I will be going to the hospital for the BH anyways. My boyfriend doesn't do well with pain. Everything. Is lets go to the hospital!!! Lol

Yep that's about right. However, if you have more than 4 bh in one hour before 37wks then you also need to call the doctor.

Dont feel bad if you go and you're not in labor. Usually they expect to see a first time mom in l&d once or twice before actual labor lol

When they last 45 seconds to 1 minute each, and occur every 4 to 5 minutes.

You need to have them for a hour no more than 5 minutes apart lasting anywhere from seconds to a 1
