No, it is super old news (4-5yrs old), and they have fixed the problem. I never had any issues with my dd, and neither have any of my nephews and friends' babies have either. It just re-circulates when someone happens to see it somewhere, then everyone freaks out all over again.
I use them for my daughter and we've had no problems at all. She doesn't take them that often. I'm always checking thief website for any recall info and to date there isn't any
