I agree with you. People can do whatever they want, but there are plenty of things the government passes that aren't healthy for people and babies. It's all about money.

@sarinunez yes mam, im scared for all of us. Even the food that they are trying to say is better for us is a luxury for us to eat. That makes no sense.

@lizzyc09 yep everyone have to do whats best for themselves and their baby.

If the baby is fed and healthy at the end of that day that is what is the most important. I am one to recommend that if a mom is trying formula, to seek organic....not so much because we are 100% that the ingredients are organic but usually because they dont have as much sugars etc. At the end of the day the baby needs to eat regardless

@arivera64, i dont think all the info they put out there is 100% at all on both ends. Im not totally against with what you are saying its just that the great milk they want us to buy is out of some of our league. Some women have no choice but to get on wic and have reg milk. The milk is fine.

Oh this i know. I've had formula on wic before. That's why i said at the end of the day, baby has to eat. If baby is being fed and is healthy that's all that matters. I do like to share my knowledge because i like to empower women. That's why i made a post for moms seeking to use formula so that they are informed about the different types that are out there. A recommendation doesn't always mean that people are judging. I judge people who don't take care of their babies, not women who make a different choice than i do.

Child im not saying you were judging anyone lol i like the fact that you put it out there. Its just some moms (not you) look down on otheres if they dont breastfeed or if they cant breastfeed they look down on them because they dont have the expenses to get grade a formula. @arivera64

I know. You never said that you thought i was judging anyone. I didn't take it in that light. I just mentioned it because sometimes people do take things that way, and that's because sometimes people cause it. I don't twll anyone they are wrong for formula feeding. I ask why they are choosing it, try to give them information about both sides, and let them choose. I didn't breastfeed longer than 3 days with my first. I didn't have anybody to really support or teach me and i wish i did. For that i try to really encourage moms. I became a labor professional and with that i learned how important it is not to judge, but to help moms have the best experience possible for them. 😊
