Seriously? Does my sister in law have no courtesy? First she makes me and my husband sleep in her tiny twin bed while she sleeps in her moms king bed. Then I give our $80 cat tree to her kitten, specifically saying that it was for Alaska, the cat. Less than 24 hours later, she calls my husband asking how much we paid for it so she can sell it.
Seriously??? Arg!!!! She always does shit like this. What the fuck???? Sorry about my language but ugh. She's always making us pay for shit when we have a baby coming and only one of us is working. She has a full time job that pays well. She is the only one she supports. It seriously pisses me off.

@marzuniversal, I would make her give it back if she is just going to sell it. either you can use it, find someone else who can, or at least make your money back on it.

@marzuniversal, hmm. talk to him about it. it'd not right for her to do that. and he can be a mama's boy but if he's a married man then he can step up to his sister too. it's wrong to just let her do it.

i don't think i get it. why can't u sleep in your own bed? were you visiting? i think the best thing for me is i stayed away from people and had my own space. i don't see why she'd sell the cat thing if she wasn't gonna use it. hubby should have said give it back soon as she asked unless she was gonna give you the money. i also have a good job but that doesn't mean i want to pay for other adults. is she making u pay for her things or just your own? you got a situation there n I'm not sure i like it

@smithmom, I don't give her things. But she still makes us pay for shit and steals my stuff. Like if we are going along with her to a place she was going anyway, she makes us pay for gas and food. I was looking for a ride to the cities once (3 hour drive) which was maybe $60 in gas there and back. It was to go to the marine corps ball with my husband. She wanted $100 bucks, food, and to sleep in the hotel room with us. Seriously?

@islandftm, yeah. Visiting. She's a lot more mature than she used to be, but hubby is part of the problem. He bribes his brother and sister to do simple things like getting his phone from another room. And I've talked to him about it. Like, you can go get your own phone if your sister is demanding $3 to walk ten feet to get it. My hubby always picks up the tab when we go out to eat So how then is it fair that he has to pay for their snacks and gas too?
