I seriously hate having to wake my daughter up in the middle of the night to give her medicine. she just cries and spits the first bit out. and since we aren't home tonight she cried for daddy. makes me feel like crap because I woke her up from a good sleep. but if I don't get this absess to drain they will cut open her face to drain it and I really don't want that to happen😦😦

@pretty_n_pink, I know she just kept saying mom daddy and then spit some of the medicine out. but I had to force her to keep taking it. she has a bottle now and is laying back down. but I know she wants daddy and he isn't here.

@6215teenmom, I'm sorry you're going through that. When my daughter was 1 (now 7) she was hospitalized with an abscess on her butt the size of a golf ball and she had a hard time with the meds and sitting in the warm water to try and get it to pop on it own.

@pretty_n_pink, she never let's me or my boyfriend put the warm towels on her face for very long and I'm worried I won't get it to drain. but I'd rather her not get a scar so young. she's really fussy about it.

@6215teenmom, I completely understand what your going through granted I'm 22 and 28 weeks pregnant I just had surgery for a facial abscess yesterday and I am pretty sore . how old is she @6215teenmom

@6215teenmom, maybe try a warm bath. Let her keep putting warm water on her face and she won't think much of it. The steam will also help.
