Girl my milk didn't come till day 5-6 after birth 😟😩 yes I stuck it out and fed my baby what I could and had to give formula too til my milk came in 💕🙌🏼

My Milk took a few days and she was fine with the colostrum. As long as the baby is peeing and pooping they are getting enough!

@mommytomia_, okay thank you love!! i just didn't wanna do it unless another mom has done it too and still successfully breastfed. hopefully my milk will come in soon. so still latch and formula too right?

I wasn't producing enough colostrum to make my baby full so I had to give her what I could and give her formula for the first few days until my milk came in💕 and once it comes in, it'll be the best feeling 😍✨ good luck love!! It's only going to be colostrum for a few days and that all the baby needs right now. Your milk will come in and as long as baby is having wet diapers it will be fine

@momagainjj82, he hasn't popped all day today so I know my colostrum isn't enough for him so I'm gonna do formula morning and end of night and then breastfeed the middle

When we took my son to his first appointment my milk had just come in that morning. He hadn't been having regular diapers but she said that was normal and when the milk comes in they'll get more regular. And they did. His stomach is so small so he's not producing as much as you'd think. Stick it out! You can do it!

@haileybuttons, I guess my hospital was just a worrisome hospital. the lactation nurses made it seem like he NEEDS to have at least 2 wet diapers and 2 poop diapers for his second day or else I'm not producing enough colostrum and I should probably go in there to see if I'll have to switch to formula pretty much. and he's only peed once so they gave me all these concerns bc of how they were saying it.

That's how my son was too. I was worried until my dr told me it's fine and normal. Do whatever you need to tho! Whatever you're comfortable with. There's no shame in formula feeding at all. Gotta do what's best for your son

@haileybuttons, true. I'm gonna breastfeed tho. I'm determined so I see no harm in a tiny bit of formula right now and still breastfeed him. just hope my milk comes in 3-4 days instead of longer. 😺

@mamaash, they are very pushy at the hospital it's very normal especially if your at Kaiser in riverside

I delivered at parkview in riverside. I guess hospitals are just that way in general. @reaganmommy2015
