So we have our dog away to what we thought was a good home. We told them all his good and bad qualities and that he is very friendly but to keep an eye on him since he has never been without us...ever. I told the lady I was so happy we could find a good home because I really didn't want to send him to a pound since they kill the dogs after so long if not adopted out. He was a good dog and just because we couldn't take care of him does not mean he deserved to die. We get home and the couple text my husband and said he niped at their son and growled so they are taking him to the nearest pound....we can't take him back because my daughter might be allergic and with the baby any day now I wouldn't be able to handle him. Now he's sitting in a pound prolly thinking he's not loved and it's breaking my heart and making me want to go get him until we can find a family that would understand he's going to be scared and sad at first. Now I can't stop crying and hurting....I don't know what to do but sit here and think of my son.

Post him on Facebook to a local pet page, a lot of the time you can find him a nice home that way.

@twinscomingsoon, thanks I really needed that. I just told my husband about it so he might try to. I really hope he does find a good home...one that really does take care of him
I understand. I'm just such a sucker for dogs. I can't imagine the pain you are feeling right now. Don't be hard on yourself it isn't your fault. The people obvious mislead you into thinking they could provide a good home. Find out what shelter they are taking him too and post about him! Make sure people know he's there and is a good dog that needs a good home that could help get him a good home! Don't lose hope.
@twinscomingsoon, I wish we could but we have that family all of his things and even his food away. we don't have enough money to go get him a new cage and bed and food along with water bowl. I wish we could and that's why I already feel so bad, he doesn't deserve to sit in there and I cant help but feel it's all my fault.
I'd go get him. Poor pup shouldn't sit in the pound. That's so sad. 😞
@twinscomingsoon, I'm trying we are going to a church function tonight so I am going to ask our pastor to pray for him. @samclark5. We had him up on one or two plus criegs list for over a month and still no one wanted him till this couple.
