do you... Clean up after your SO is done cooking? Or vice versa? DF was cooking and while he was cooking I unloaded the dish washer and hand washed the pot he had used and put dishes in the dish washer, so by the time he got his plate, dishes were done and left overs were in Tupperware on the counter just in case anyone wanted seconds and counters were wiped down. The room mate asked me why I do that, and I just say that's how I was raised. I always clean up after anyone cooks in the house, even after myself. I clean as I cook, so DF doesn't clean up because it's done before dinner is finished lol. But there's rare occasions where he'd be in the kitchen while I cook so he does help out with the cleaning since i cook during the day sometimes so we can heat it up when it's dinner time. I want everyone to get their first and seconds before I eat. My mom has taught me to always clean up after your spouse makes dinner, it's only fair. They put their effort into cooking, you should always help them out.

Horrified - somewhat graphic I'm phobic of dead bodies. I went to a CE today (I'm a claims adjuster) and the topic was "biohazard clean up". It was about cleaning up houses/buildings after murders, suicides, and deaths where bodies decomposed! I had a panic attack. I was nearly in tears. I never would have attended if I knew the topic. At the first break I ran to the bathroom with tears in my eyes and collected myself.
Serious question. Is there a way to train a grown man to clean up after himself? Specifically one that doesn’t get bothered by mess.
