I feel really bad. My older sister has been trying to concieve for about 3 years now. She was told very early on that she couldn't because of complications with her body from a very young age. She had my nephew in 2003 and since then has been having a hard time conceiving. After I got pregnant in December, it hit her really hard seeing as we are so close (despite our 10 year age gap) and I felt like it was something that I couldn't truly talk to her about because I knew her pain from our day to day conversations prior to. Finally, she let go of the idea of having a baby and bam 3 weeks later finds out she's pregnant. I was so happy for her but last night after 8 weeks she miscarried. I feel numb and I don't know should I go and console her with my huge belly and 2 year old (in whom made her start trying harder because of her love for her) or is it better and easier on her if I just talk to her over the phone. But I even feel guilty doing that...I just feel like despite my mood swings and things going on with my body, I could've done better in sharing her joy with her.
