for one i dont know about using a used car seat but if its clean and mantained before then maybe..but the signs of a mucus plus and discharging weeks before birth (watery and white) or mucus like can be with blood or without..you will be able to see it if its in your pants or you see it before you flush if it comes out that way

if you're buying a used carseat do LOTS of research first. like if its had any recalls or how old it is. its best to buy new honestly. if possible. when you buy new it comes with a thing you can fill out and send to the manufacturer and if there is any recalls in the future they will alert you immediately

You should not get a used car seat. It can be very dangerous. Check with your hospital though. I am getting my own, but my hospital gives you one after delivery.

most car seats if not all have expiration dates on them. not necessarily from when they are bought, but from when they were manufactured. without all the paperwork that comes with, it could be hard to tell when that date is. buy a new one to be safe
