Hell nooooo. It's a battle every time I talk to my baby's father cause he feels she should have his last name because he helped making her but mf isn't gonna do crap for her so she isn't going to have it.

I gave my son is dads last name and that was the biggest mistake ever. Me and my sons father broke up when I was 6months pregnant and my son is now 7years old and he has YET to see him or ask about him or anything.!

@killxj0y, you can always hyphenate... use both last names

See her yes. I won't take that from her to getting to know her dad but when it comes down financially and stuff he won't do his part. Though he says he will but he already has a kid and unless the babymom asks him for money he won't do it. I'm not one to ask. There are ofc other reasons why she won't be having his last name but yeah. @killxj0y

My boyfriend is in my life. And I'm not keen on his name but it's his only son and he wants him to be a junior. So I'm being nice. But if my boyfriend wasn't involved and didn't plan to be I'd be like screw that shit see you in court! 🖕🏻✌🏻️

@missjess, Exactly lol. Making a baby does not make you a dad, and giving the last name just makes it easier for some "men" to be spiteful when it comes to rights and stuff. You can always change it later on to the father's if he steps up, but I just couldn't, you earn that right.

@killxj0y, that's true. but then you have that time when the child is old enough and wonders why every other kids has their fathers last name and he/she doesn't. Kids talk and are curious. So one day that question will come and then you'll need an explanation.

@rellie18, yeah but that can go both ways, I have my dad's last name & I always wondered why I didn't have my mom's cus she's the one I grew up with my dad wasn't around much. It's hard either way I think
