You're going to get an overwhelming amount of people for the epidural. I always share this because most people won't tell you the negative aspect of having one. My best friend from college died from an epidural. She had a brain aneurysm from the epidural skyrocketing her blood pressure and she died not even remembering she had given birth. I know a lot of people that have had injuries or ended up with migraines because of them. It is dangerous no matter what anybody says. So don't take the decision lightly. But if it's what you need there's no shame in it.
Yes! My first two I had with an epidural and it was perfect. My third came out of no where so i did not have time to get an epidural and it was such a painful experience. With my fourth I will most def ask for an epidural.
I am a ftm. but I will be trying my hardest not to have one. I hear they will help with the labor partly, but afterwards it's misserable. they are such a new thing, and I just think everyone before our time did it without one. so I know I can do it without one too! I wanna be able to feel this experience, not just numb it and forget it.

Depends how high of a pain tolerance you have, try without first and if the pain is too much then get one
